Notice of Tuition Fee Adjustment for SNED Academic Year 2025-26

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Warm greetings from Hope Horizon School for Giftedness (HHSG)!

First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and trust in our school’s mission to nurture gifted and exceptional learners through progressive education. Your partnership enables us to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for our students to thrive.

We are writing to inform you of an upcoming adjustment in our tuition fees for the coming academic year. This decision was not made lightly, but it is necessary to ensure the sustainability and continued excellence of our educational programs. Allow us to share the reasons behind this adjustment:

  • Increased Operational Costs: With the opening of our new annex building, we have incurred significantly higher rental expenses (200%), as well as increased utility bills, particularly electricity, to maintain comfortable learning spaces.
  • Competitive and Sustainable Payroll: To continue attracting and retaining licensed, highly skilled, and compassionate teachers — especially in our Special Education (SPED) program — we have implemented necessary payroll adjustments. Offering competitive salaries allows us to keep loyal, excellent educators who are critical to our students’ success.
  • Enhanced Teacher-Student Ratio: To maintain the quality of teaching and effective class management, each class continues to have two dedicated teachers, even with small student numbers. This individualized approach remains a hallmark of our progressive education model.
  • Compliance with Government Mandates: We are also required to meet recent increases in government-mandated employee benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, PAGIBIG), adding to our operational costs.
  • Cost of Progressive Education: Progressive education — especially with experiential, individualized, and resource-intensive learning — naturally requires more investment (materials, activities prep, hardwares and subscription). Despite this, we have consistently strived to keep our fees affordable compared to progressive and SPED schools in Metro Manila & Bulacan.
  • Financial Sustainability: For several years, HHSG has intentionally kept fees low to remain accessible to more families, even absorbing financial losses, loans, and deficits. To continue delivering the high standard of education your children deserve, it is now necessary to correct our pricing and move toward sustainability.

Even with this adjustment, HHSG continues to offer lower tuition rates compared to many SPED and progressive education providers, without compromising on quality and individualized care.

We deeply understand that any increase can be a concern, and we want to assure you that this adjustment is intended solely to maintain the quality, stability, and future growth of our community. We offer discounts and special rates to our loyal students.

Together, let us invest in what matters most — your child’s bright future.
We remain fully committed to serving your family with excellence, love, and the progressive education your children deserve.

Should you have any questions or wish to discuss this further, our team is ready to assist you. Thank you once again for being an important part of the HHSG family. We look forward to journeying with you and your child in the coming years.

your partner in unleashing the genius in your child,

Mrs. Jennelyn Ipapo Catalon
